Claims

We handle claims on your behalf

 As part of our client service, we manage all claims in-house and take the worry and stress out of claims management for you.


From claim lodgement to claim settlement, we manage the whole process from start to finish on your behalf.


Our team is highly experienced in claim management, and we always endeavor to negotiate the best outcome for our clients.


As part of the Steadfast Group, we also have access to a claims triage team which we can involve if required. Claims triage offer additional support for claim acceptance or settlement in the event a claim is disputed by an insurance company.

You will need the following information in order to lodge your claim:


BUSINESS CLAIMS


  • Your Name & contact details (these will be used for claim correspondence with you)
  • Your Policy Number (this can be found on your invoice and policy documents)
  • Date and time of loss (when did the incident occur or when did you first notice it)
  • The type of claim you're lodging (fire, theft, storm damage, injury or property damage)
  • The location of the incident
  • A detailed description of what happened
  • A Police report number (required for all theft & malicious damage claims)
  • Photos of the incident
  • Replacement or repair quotes
  • Proof of ownership documents (Invoices or photos of tools, assets or contents items being claimed & contents items) 


VEHICLE CLAIMS


  • Your Name & contact details (these will be used for claim correspondence with you)
  • Your Policy Number (this can be found on your invoice and policy documents)
  • Date and time of loss (when did the incident occur)
  • The type of claim you're lodging (fire, theft, vehicle accident)
  • The location of the incident
  • A detailed description of what happened
  • A Police report number (if police attended the scene)
  • Photos of the incident
  • Replacement or repair quotes
  • Proof of ownership documents (Vehicle rego papers / invoices or photos of vehicle contents being claimed) 
  • Other Driver's details (Vehicle Rego, Make and Model of the other vehicle, Drivers License Details - including full name, address, date of birth & drivers license number)
  • Other driver's insurance and contact details


PROPERTY CLAIMS (Commercial, Landlord, Home & Contents)


  • Your Name & contact details (these will be used for claim correspondence with you)
  • Your Policy Number (this can be found on your invoice and policy documents)
  • Date and time of loss (when did the incident occur or when did you first notice it)
  • The type of claim you're lodging (fire, theft, storm damage, property damage)
  • The location of the incident
  • A detailed description of what happened
  • A Police report number (required for all theft & malicious damage claims)
  • Photos of the incident
  • Replacement or repair quotes
  • Proof of ownership documents (Invoices or photos of tools, assets or contents items being claimed & contents items) 


The above information ensures a fast and efficient claims experience to get you back on your feet as quickly as possible without delays.
